Possible reason: Air is leaking from your product. Solution: First, make sure the pump switch is aligned properly to the “Off” position. Also make sure the simple SPS™ pump cap is fastened firmly. If leakage still persists, to find the leakage, first, inflate the air bed by following the instruction for inflation; apply liquid soap on suspected area of leakage either with a soft sponge or a squirt bottle. The effected area will bubble if there is a leak. (Laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent will not work; they do not have the “bubbling” effect).

Possible reason 1: Your air bed is made of heavy duty puncture resistance PVC. However, the material may stretch during first use and may need additional air to reach desired firmness. Possible reason 2: Air inside your air bed may expand and contract with varying temperatures potentially leading to reduced air bed pressure. Solution: If additional firmness is desired, you can increase the firmness of your air bed either with the simple SPS™ pump (SPS pump is optional) or the built-in electric pump. Follow all instructions and heed all warnings according to the respective operations manual.

Possible reason 1: Air is leaking from a tear on the air bed. Solution: If you have a puncture or tear in your airbed, it may be possible to repair the damage by using the repair batch included with your product. First, deflate the bed by following the instruction for deflation. Clean and repair the affected area thoroughly. Cut out a small piece of PVC patch material (included) into a size that will cover the punctured area. Apply the self-adhesive patch over the affected area by peeling off the backing and placing sticky side down on airbed. Rub patch to ensure adhesion. Allow at least four hours for repair to set before attempting to inflate the air bed. Possible reason 2: Air is leaking from the electric pump. Solution: Generation One Pump First, make sure the pump cap is fastened firmly and the pump arrow is aligned properly to the “Off” position. If leakage still persists, lubricate the pump gasket with any household lubricant to maintain a positive seal and prevent airbed leakage. Generation TWO, THREE Pump To stop pump leakage, make sure the pump switch is aligned properly to the “Off” position. Possible reason 3: The OPTIONAL simple SPS™ pump cap is not fastened properly. Solution: If the SPS pump cap is not fastened properly, turn the pump cap clockwise and align to the “Close” position to maintain a positive seal.

Possible reason 1: The battery is either dead or not inserted correctly. Solution: First make sure the batteries are inserted correctly and battery cover is properly closed with a click. If problem still persist, replace with new batteries, make sure not to mix old and new batteries. Also do not mix Alkaline, Standard (Carbon-Zinc), or Rechargeable (Nickel Cadmium) Batteries. Possible reason 2: The simple SPS™ pump cap is not fastened properly. Solution: If the pump cap is not fastened properly, turn the pump cap clockwise and align to the “Close” position to fasten the pump cap.
