Possible reason: Air is leaking from your product. Solution: First, make sure the pump switch is aligned properly to the “Off” position. Also make sure the simple SPS™ pump cap is fastened firmly. If leakage still persists, to find the leakage, first, inflate the air product by following the instruction for inflation; apply liquid soap on suspected area of leakage either with a soft sponge or a squirt bottle. The effected area will bubble if there is a leak. (Laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent will not work; they do not have the “bubbling” effect).

Possible reason 1: Your air product is made of heavy duty puncture resistance PVC. However, the material may stretch during first use and may need additional air to reach desired firmness. Possible reason 2: Air inside your product may expand and contract with varying temperatures potentially leading to reduced air product pressure. Solution: If additional firmness is desired, you can increase the firmness of your air product either with the simple SPS™ pump or the built-in electric pump. Follow all instructions and heed all warnings according to the respective operations manual.

Possible reason 1: Air is leaking from the electric pump. Solution: If air is leaking from the electric pump, make sure the pump switch is aligned properly to the “Off” position. If leakage still persists, make sure the alternative inflation/deflation valve is fastened firmly. Possible reason 2: Air is leaking from a tear in the product. Solution: If you have a puncture or tear in your airproduct, it may be possible to repair the damage by using the repair batch included with your product. First, deflate the product by following the instruction for deflation. Clean and repair the affected area thoroughly. Cut out a small piece of PVC patch material (included) into a size that will cover the punctured area. Apply the self-adhesive patch over the affected area by peeling off the backing and placing sticky side down on airproduct. Rub patch to ensure adhesion. Allow at least four hours for repair to set before attempting to inflate the air product.

Possible reason 1: The pump has automatically shut-off due to excessive over heat. Solution: In case the pump overheats due to excessive continuous inflation/deflation, to ensure your safety, the power will automatically cut-off, the power indicator light will come on. The pump will reset and begin working within 30 minutes, at which time the power indictor light will go off. Possible reason 2: The alternative inflation/deflation valve cap is not fastened properly. Solution: If the valve cap is not fastened properly, turn the valve cap clockwise to fasten the valve cap and maintain a positive seal.
